Day 15

Lacy Ornaments

You will need:

Snippets of fabric of choice.

A variety of lace

String beads

Beads

Narrow ribbon

Thin batting (Wadding)

Method:

Cut out your shapes. Bells. Hearts. Butterflies. Angels. (I’ve given a bell and butterfly pattern below)

Cut out two shapes from material and one from thin batting.

Sew around the shapes using similar coloured thread as the material using satin stitch on your sewing machine. Glue or hand sew your lace and beads around the shapes to form a nice looking ornament.

Using a narrow piece of ribbon make a hanger to hang from the Christmas tree.
